These are some examples of the many duas that one can find in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The best time to make dua is when one is in a state of purity, humility, and sincerity, especially during the last third of the night, before the dawn prayer, after the obligatory prayers, between the adhan and the iqamah, on Fridays, in Ramadan, on the day of Arafah, and in times of distress and need.

However, dua alone is not enough to increase one’s money and barakah. One also needs to follow some other guidelines, such as:

  1. Earning a lawful (halal) and wholesome income, avoiding any work that involves sin, injustice, or oppression.
  2. Spending one’s money wisely and moderately, avoiding extravagance, waste, and greed.
  3. Giving charity (sadaqah) and paying the obligatory alms (zakat) to the poor and needy, as this purifies one’s wealth and increases it manifold.
  4. Being grateful to Allah for His bounties and blessings, and acknowledging that everything belongs to Him and will return to Him.
  5. Being content with what Allah has decreed for one, and trusting in His wisdom and plan.
  6. Seeking Allah’s forgiveness and repenting from one’s sins, as this removes the obstacles and barriers that prevent one’s wealth and barakah from reaching one.
  7. Being God-fearing and pious, following the commands of Allah and His Messenger, and avoiding the prohibitions and the disobedience.

By doing these things, one can hope to attain Allah’s favour, mercy, and barakah in one’s wealth and life, and achieve success in both worlds. And Allah knows best.
